The reeded baluster supports on turned tapering legs are almost identical to those on a wine cooler by Gillows offered by Christie's London. A related wine cooler of oval form with turned baluster legs is illustrated in Percy Macquoid and Ralph Edwards, The Dictionary on English Furniture, Three volumes, rev.ed, 1954, Vol.1,p,223.
